Wednesday Wish

I do love it when a plan comes together!  This week I bring you a wish that not only ticks this season’s pastel trend, but is also a nod to the current news of the moment in the fashion world.  For, as every self-respecting fashionista knows, the next H&M collaboration is to be with Alexander Wang.  Women swooned upon hearing the news.  I’m reserving judgement.

In the meantime, how about a bit of the ‘real thing’?  The Alexander Wang Rocco has been a favourite amongst the fabulous set for quite some time, and can be instantly distinguished by its studded base.  Today however, I bring you a slight variation on this.  Somewhat smaller and in a colour that certainly wouldn’t work in a world with small children, the Rockie Light Pink Leather Dumbo is a perfect bag to tote the essentials this summer.  With both a shoulder strap and handle, it can be worn a variety of ways, whilst the pale pink would go with just about everything in your wardrobe.  And to be honest, my inner Princess is kinda’ loving the colour!

  3. Very excited about this collaboration and this time I won't be relying on the internet for my purchases. Nothing wrong with looking at the real thing in the meantime though xx

    1. I have never been a fan of the H&M collaborations. I just don't get what all the fuss is about. Cheap clothing with designer names plus H&M logos all squished onto one tag. Hence I'm reserving judgement. Don't even get me started on the Marant one last year!

I can't believe you've actually chosen a pink bag! You're getting soft in your old age :o)

    1. As it happens, I *may* just have a cerise pink patent DKNY tote ... seriously! I do!!! And have worn it lots. I've also started wearing the pink Tesco shell top recently and I'm liking it more than I thought I would!! Have you worn yours yet?

    2. No. It's still parked in my wardrobe. It's day will come.

And I too have a pink Furla handbag which the hubs bought me in Bologna on our honeymoon. Gone are the days where I bought a handbag everywhere I visited - it was my way of doing souvenirs. A bit more useful than a straw donkey.
