Wednesday Wish

Today I have excelled myself.  Today I’ve found something that is so completely out of reach, it doesn’t have anything as vulgar as a price tag attached!  And in the spirit of the week that’s in it, (that would be St. Patrick’s Day for those of you who didn’t notice that half the world turned green on Monday!) I’ve opted to go for emeralds.

Today I bought two statement necklaces in Dunnes Stores … pleased as punch with them, I am!  So it tickled me greatly to go from one extreme to the other when selecting an item for the Wednesday Wish.  Quite honestly, try as I might, there is no way that I can better the description given by Boodles, “an ethereal green fire burns within richly coloured emeralds, their luminosity symbolising a beam of light as it strikes through forest foliage. Petal shaped flames dance amongst swirling tendrils creating a natural harmony between the elements: earth and fire. Featuring the finest untreated Columbian Emeralds from the Muzo mines.”

Now!  I bet that took your mind off your psoriasis for a few moments!

  1. If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it. Best advice my Dad ever gave me! Along with "if you have "it" then you don't need to flaunt it" :-)

    1. Pics already on Twitter and will put them on the FB page tomorrow ... plus I promise they'll eventually appear on the blog! They're from the Gallery range this time ... the Savida range has gone a little too blingtastic and shiny even for my tastes!
